Become a Family Friend

The Family Friends Program is a wonderful opportunity to engage your family in a meaningful relationship with an inner-city child (Achiever) who needs some extra support. Make a contribution of $1200 (or $600 per year over 2 years) and form a lasting relationship with this child. Your support will help provide an Achiever with clothes, books, school supplies, and other crucial necessities; items no child should go without. It will also allow Friends to introduce the Achiever to new experiences; museums, ball games, restaurants and outings to destinations outside of Boston.

As Family Friends, you will spend the next two years (and hopefully more) establishing a supportive and interactive relationship with a child in the Friends program. This unique program provides an opportunity for your family to directly interact with an Achiever in various Friends-Boston activities. Family Friends is a perfect way for your family to share your unique experiences and learn from the Achievers as well.

Family Friends are also asked to consider making an additional $100 donation to support our 13th Year Fund. The 13th Year Fund will be invested into a savings plan for your Achiever, to support his/her 1st year in College/13th year as a Friends-Boston Achiever.
